Planting nectar plants and taking other steps to provide healthy habitats in yards, rights -or -way, open spaces, and private property Is also necessary to promote Monarch butterflies' health, habitat, and lifecycle. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that I, Amada Mdrquez Simula, Mayor of Columbia Heights, do hereby proclaim the month of January, 2023 to be Plant Milkweed Month in the City of Columbia Heights, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, U.S.A.
