By: /O b Designated Agent Subscribed and sworn to or affirmed before me on 05/15/2026 _1� Notary Public Rate Information: (1) Lowest classified rate paid by commercial users for comparable space: $999.99 per column inch Ad ID 1536468 CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN AND THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS THEREUNDER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, Minnesota (the "City") will meet on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at or after 6:00 p.m., in Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 3989 Central Ave- nue NE in the City, in part to hold a public hearing concerning (1) a proposal to adopt a five-year cap- ital improvement plan (the "Plan") pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.521, as amended (the "Act"); and (2) the intention to issue one or more series of general ob- ligation bonds under the Plan (the "CIP Bonds"), in accordance with the Act, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $31,515,000, plus any premium received, to fi- nance all or a portion of the costs of the capital improvements set forth in the Plan, including without lim- itation the construction of a public works building to replace the City's Municipal Service Center. A copy of the Plan is available for inspection during regular busi- ness hours in the City Clerk's Office of City Hall, located at 3989 Central Avenue NE in the City. Questions or comments may be directed to the City Clerk by phone at 763-706- 3611. If a petition requesting a vote on the issuance of the CIP Bonds un- der the Act, signed by voters equal to 5% of the votes cast in the City in the last general election, is filed with the City Clerk within 30 days after the public hearing, the City may issue CIP Bonds under the Act only after obtaining approval of a majority of voters voting on the question at an election. All interested persons may ap- pear and be heard at the public hearing or may file written com- ments with the City Clerk before the hearing.
