A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $305,000 OF ACHRA GRANT FUNDS FROM THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS
TO THE COLUMBIA HEIGHTS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR THE PURCHASE, ABATEMENT,
UTILITY WORK, AND DEMOLITION OF 4217 CENTRAL AVE NE
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Columbia Heights, Minnesota (the "City") as
follows:
The City of Columbia Heights (City) has approved Resolution 2026-037 requesting redevelopment funds from
the Anoka County HRA (ACHRA) levy; and
These funds shall be used towards the purchase, abatement, utility disconnect, demolition, and re -grading of
4217 Central Ave (the Property); and
The Columbia Heights Economic Development Authority (EDA) has appropriated funds for and has entered into
an agreement to purchase the Property; and
The EDA has appropriated funds for the abatement, utility work, demolition, and re -grading of the Properties
to prepare them for redevelopment; and
The City has passed Resolution No. 2026-037, which has requested $305,000 from the ACHRA levy for use in the
acquisition, abatement, utility work, demolition, and re -grading of the Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Columbia Heights, Minnesota that upon
receipt of the $305,000 in grant funds from the ACHRA, the City will transfer said funds to the EDA.
