AMEND FUND 720 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY BUDGET TO
APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR CYBERSECURITY SOFTWARE AND SERVICES
The City of Columbia Heights IT Department has established a Threat Mitigation Plan to reduce the City's cyber
attack service.
To support this Threat Mitigation Plan and ensure adherence to the IT departments ongoing cybersecurity
mission, IT has identified additional software and services required to implement this plan in a timely fashion.
Staff have obtained competitive quotes for the necessary software and services.
Following a security review, staff have identified gaps in security. Purchasing these software and services
accomplishes a portion of IT's Threat Mitigation Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Columbia Heights amends the 2025 Information
Technology budget to appropriate $19,625.02 from Fund 720 for the purchase of software and services to
support the Threat Mitigation Plan.
