The following are the minutes for the Special Work Session of the City Council held at 3:30pm on
Friday, March 14, 2025, in the Shared Vision Room, City Hall, 3989 Central Avenue NE, Columbia
Heights, Minnesota.
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Márquez Simula; Councilmember Buesgens; Councilmember Deneen; Councilmember
James (departed at 6:45pm); Councilmember Spriggs.

1. Interview Candidates for Board and Commission Vacancies.
The City Council conducted interviews for Board and Commission positions as follows:

recommended by at least a majority of the City Council:
