The EAW evaluates the potential ;nvironmental impacts of the proj- ,ct in accordance with Minnesota >nvironmental regulations and is in - ended to inform decision -makers and solicit community input prior to any final project approvals. The proposed redevelopment, ed by Lincoln Avenue Commu- nities, would transform the for- mer Medtronic office building and parking lot into a mixed -use de- velopment. The City of Columbia Heights is the designated Responsible Gov- ernment Unit (RGU) for this project and will review all submitted pub- lic comments before determining whether further environmental re- view is needed under the Minneso- ta Environmental Review Program. That decision will be made by the City Council before any final project approvals are granted.
