NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the City Council of the City of
Columbia Heights, Anoka Coun-
ty, State of Minnesota, will hold a
public hearing on May 131, 2024,
at approximately 6:00 P.M. at the
Columbia Heights City Council
Chambers in City Hall, 3989 Cen-
tral Avenue NE, Columbia Heights,
Minnesota, related to the order of
business as follows:
First Reading of ORDINANCE
NO. 1698
BEING AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING A LOCAL
HOUSING TRUST FUND
Ordinance 1698 establishes
a local housing trust fund which,
when funded, will provide the City
with additional tools to support the
rehabilitation and preservation of
existing affordable housing. Estab-
lishing a local housing trust fund
allows the city to apply for and
administer certain grants and oth-
er housing related opportunities.
Funds added to the Trust fund will
be discussed via resolution at a lat-
er date.
Copies of all documents relat-
ing to the proposed Ordinance No.
1698 are on file and available for
public inspection at the office of
the Community Development De-
partment in City Hall during regular
business hours.
All interested persons may
appear at the hearing and present
their views orally or prior to the
meeting in writing. For questions or
