AGREEMENT FOR 2024 CRYSTAL RENTAL OF
COLUMBIA HEIGHTS POLICE GUN RANGE

WHEREAS, the City of Crystal Police Department desires to rent the City of Columbia Heights
Police Department gun range;
WHEREAS, the parties agree that a one-year agreement is in the mutual best interest of both
parties from a standpoint of stafftime, billing, and convenience and cost savings;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED, in consideration of each parties
promises, and considerations herein set forth as follows;
l. The Crystal Police Department shall have use of the Columbia Heights Police
Department gun range from 0110112024 to l2l3l12024 at such times and as coordinated by the Columbia
Heights Police Department to ensure range availability for both parties hereto.
2. The City of Crystal shall pay rent in the amount of $4,250.00 covering the term of this Agreement
as set forth above. Said rent shall be paid as follows: Due at the beginning ofthe calendar year, upon
receipt of the invoice from the Columbia Heights Police Department.
3. Only swom staff and other employees of the Crystal Police Department shatl be allowed use of
said gun range under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
4. The City ofCrystal shall be responsible for any and all loss or damage to said gun range as a result
ofthe use thereofby its employees (other than what is consistent with the ordinary use ofsuch facilityl.
5. It shall be the sole responsibility of the City of Crystal to ensure the safety of its employees while
using said gun range.
6. Either Party may terminate this Agreement with or without cause upon 30 days written notice.
The payment ofrent hereunder shall be prorated to the effective date of termination.
