NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the
Planning Commission of the City
of Columbia Heights will conduct
a public hearing in the City Council
Chambers of City Hall at 590 - 40th
Avenue NE on Wednesday, July 5,
2023, at 6:00 p.m. The order of
business is as follows:
A request for a conditional use
permit to allow a banquet hall upon
property located at 2201 37th Av-
enue NE (PID# 36-30-24-44-0014).
The banquet hall represents a
component of a plan to remodel
of the interior space of the existing
building on the site which will also
include space devoted to a furni-
ture retail space, speculative retail,
office and storage space. The land
use application is being made by
Mohamed Adur and Abdul Salah,
the owners of the subject proper-
ty. Section 9.104 (I) of the Zoning
Ordinance requires the Planning
Commission to hold a public hear-
ing to consider the Conditional Use
Permit application and submit its
recommendation to the City Coun-
cil.
Notice is hereby given that all
persons having an interest will be
given an opportunity to be heard.
