Notice is hereby given that the
Planning Commission of the City
of Columbia Heights will conduct
a public hearing in the City Council
Chambers of City Hall at 590 - 40th
Avenue NE on Wednesday, August
3, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The order of
business is as follows:
A request for a Conditional Use
Permit to allow for the installation
of a dynamic LED sign at Top Valu
Liquor store #3 located at 5225
University Avenue NE per City
Code Section 9.106(P)(8)(a), as well
as a Zoning Amendment to rezone
the properties located at 2105 37th
Avenue NE, 4950 Central Avenue
NE, 5225 University Avenue NE,
and 5233 University Avenue NE.
(PID#'s 26-30-24-21-0094, 26-30-
24-21-0093, 36-30-24-44-0025,
36-30-24-44-0026, and 26-30-24-
14-0143). The Zoning Amendment
application is made by the City of
Columbia Heights and would re-
zone the properties from the Gen-
eral Business District to the Public
and Open Space District. Sections
9.104 (F) & (H) of the Zoning Ordi-
nance require the Planning Com-
mission to hold a public hearing to
consider the Zoning Amendment
and Conditional Use Permit appli-
cations and submit their recom-
mendations to the City Council.
Notice is hereby given that all
persons having an interest will be
given an opportunity to be heard.
