HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-4050CITY OF COLUMBIA HEIGHTS CONTRACT FOR SERVICES 590 40`h Ave NE Columbia Heights, MN 55421 This agreement is made and entered into between the City of Columbia Heights, 590 4Dth Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, Minnesota 55421, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City," and Pickle, 4129 5th St NE, Columbia Heights, Minnesota 55421, hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider". 1. Services Provided Service Provider agrees to provide musical entertainment at the August 3, 2022, Columbia Heights Music in the Park event. 2. Service Date: August 3, 2022 Service Time: From: 6:30 to 8 pm 3. Location of Services Provided: Huset Park East, 3965 Jefferson St., Columbia Heights, MN 55421 4. Payment as follows: $150 for services of musical entertainment for 90 minutes paid in total upon completion of services. In the event of cancellation due to weather less than a week of the performance, service provider will receive a $50 compensation fee in lieu of full payment. S. Independent Contractor Service Provider acknowledges and agrees that it is an independent Service Provider and not an employee of the City. The Service Provider is responsible for worker's compensation insurance and unemployment compensation insurance as required by law. Service Provider shall at all times be free to exercise its own initiative, judgment, and discretion in how to best perform or provide it services. 6. Liability and Indemnification All officers and employees providing services under this Contract are deemed to be employees of the Service Provider. The Service Provider agrees to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify the City against claims brought or actions filed against the City or any officer, employee, or persons arising from the furnishing of the services required by this Agreement. 7. Equipment The City agrees to provide a performance stage and sound equipment. Service Provider agrees to provide all other materials necessary for services.
