Adult Programs and Displays a. The library remained closed to the public due to COVID-19. All in-person programs were cancelled. b. The library amped up its Facebook presence. I developed content for social media posts: transparent languages, creativebug, and a curbside pick up promotional video. c. Mayor Schmitt read the abbreviated National Library Week proclamation at the April 27 city council meeting. d. Nick and I created an online local trivia challenge geared toward for adults to celebrate National Library Week. 193 people have participated in the challenge to date. e. Deliveries were made to two At-Home Patrons, following curbside procedures. II. Meetings a. I met with the Melsa adult services subgroup on April 15 via zoom. b. I met with Bri and Winnie to plan One Book/One Minnesota programs on April 17. c. I met with potential program provider Steve Smith on April 20. d. I met the the City’s Centennial planning committee on April 20. e. I met with the Anoka County Adult Services Team on April 22 via Webex. f. I met with Kathleen Moriarty from the Adult Basic Ed center on April 27 and April 30. III. Projects a. Adult Spanish titles in fiction and nonfiction were researched and ordered. b. Adult dvds and curbside pick-up supplies were ordered. c. An adult volunteer handbook was created. IV. Other
