the group in games, announcements, and team building activities.

c. We began another 4-H partnership this month. 6 teen volunteers are being trained to teach 3-5th
graders cooking skills on 11/18 and 11/25. This youth-teaching-youth program will begin in December
and provides youth in our community leadership opportunities.
d. Graphic Novel Book Club continued this month. We discussed The Witch Boy and spent time crafting.
e. STEAM Saturday was a hit this month with 81 people showing up on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to
see the MN Zoomobile. Families learned about animals around the world and got to see a tortoise,
tarantula, opossum, and boa constrictor.
f. 61 toddlers and their caregivers attended the first toddler playdate on Monday, 11/25. Parents and kids
were able to explore and play and one parent thanked me for giving them good ideas of activities they
can do at home with their kids all winter long. Favorites of the day included playing with boxes, and
creating contact paper collages.
