H.Tours of the Library were given to the Anoka County Neighborhood Center on 9/13; the Friends of the Library on 9/14, and Hennepin County Library staff on 9/29. I.A Fandom Club for teens was held on 9/20. J.A Maker Club for kids was held on 9/28. K.An “Appathon” program to introduce patrons to resources available via the Cloud Library was held on 9/28. L.4-H Tech Wizards met for three sessions on Tuesday afternoons. M.Three sessions of toddler storytime were held on Monday mornings. N.Three sessions of preschool storytimes were held on Tuesday mornings. O.Three sessions of Baby Read, Baby Grow were held on Thursday mornings. P.Volunteer reading “buddies” met with adults learning English throughout the month. Q.Conversation Circles for adults learning to speak English were offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays. R.Adult volunteers donated 50 hours to the library this month. V.STAFF A.Adult Services Librarian Barb Kondrick attended the Anoka County Library Arts and Cultural Programming Team meeting on 9/20. B.Children’s Librarian Brianna Belanger attended the ACL Youth Engagement – School- Aged Team meeting on 9/16. C.I met with Page Karen Yaeger for her six-month performance evaluation. VI.FOUNDATION A.The Foundation met on 9/7. They received a preliminary report of investment performance from Paul King and Jennie Zajicek from RBC wealth management. They also finalized plans for the September spaghetti dinner fundraiser which was held on 9/14. VII.MISC A.I presented an overview of library services and brief tour of the new facility to the Columbia Heights Business Council on 9/ 9. B.I took vacation leave from 9/13 through 9/30.
