Weekly drawing winners received coffee mu A final drawing winner will receive a canvas tote bag. b.d Tuesday, family. Madison has been named a finalist for the Minnesota Book Memoir & Creative Nonfiction category. Winners will be announced at the Minnesota Book Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Union Depot in Saint Paul. c.Five adults attended Senior Surf, facilitated by the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, on Wednesday, February 3. d.Scrabble Club, facilitated by the Friends of the Library, was he e. Grisham. f.The Nonfiction Book Club met Friday, Feb. 19. Recommendations by participants included: Stephen H. Yafa, orld Became g.Eleven adult volunteers donated 43 hours in February. They facilitated Conversation Circles and served as reading buddies to adult English language learners, delivered materials to at-home patrons, priced and prepared books for the sale cart, facilitated the non-fiction book club, served as greeters for library programs and completed various tasks in the library. II.Meetings, etc. nd a.The Friends met Wednesday, February 3. Next meeting date will be changed to the 2 Wednesday of the month, March 9 at 2 p.m. b.The Library Board met Wednesday, February 3. c.Barb participated in the ACL Arts and Culture Team Meeting via telephone on Tuesday, Feb. 16. III.Projects a.Supplies were ordered. b.Weeding PB Westerns and Mysteries has been completed. Weeding continues paperbacks, nonfiction and hard cover mysteries. Paperbacks are hard cover fiction, mysteries and westerns. c.Books and other materials were delivered to at-home patrons. d.Summer program planning begins. e.Press releases were sent out. f.Barb is coordinating volunteer schedules for the RFID project.
