Additional book displays include Holmes characters), and new fiction, non-fiction, genre, and large print books. c. and teens books to be distributed through SACA during December. d.Three adults attended Senior Surf on Wednesday, Nov. 4. e.The Nonfiction Book Club met Friday, Nov. 20. Eight adults attended. Report from #24 r f.A Learn to Knit Class for teens and adults, taught by an instructor from the Textile Center, was held on Monday, Nov. 9. Eleven adults, one teen and two children attended. g.The Library Book Club met Wednesday, Nov. 18, Until They Bring the Streetcars Backby Stanley Gordon West. Fourteen adults attended. h.Thirteen adult volunteers donated 47 hours in October. They delivered materials to at- home patrons, priced and prepared books for the sale cart, facilitated the non-fiction book club, served as greeters for library programs and completed various tasks in the library. II.Meetings, etc. a.The Friends met Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Ramsdell Room in the Public Safety Building. b.The Library Board met Wednesday, Nov. 4. c.Barb attended the Anoka County Library Arts and Culture Programming Group meeting via telephone on Tuesday, Nov. 17. III.Projects a.Adult audiobook, DVD, large print book and supply orders were placed. b.Copy for Heights Happenings was finalized. Press releases were sent out.
