Fourteen adults attended. g.Adult volunteers donated over 75 hours in August. They delivered materials to at-home patrons, priced and prepared books for the sale cart, facilitated the non-fiction book club, and completed various tasks in the library. h.At-home patrons checked out 43 items, delivered by volunteers and staff. II.Meetings, etc. a.The Friends met Wednesday, Sept 2. b.The Library Board met Wednesday, Sept. 2. c.The Foundation met Wednesday, Sept. 2 and Tuesday, Sept. 22. d.Daytime staff attended SharePoint training on Friday, Sept. 25. III.Projects a.Weeding continued for music CDs. b.Supply orders were placed. c.Winter programs (December through February) were planned. Copy was written and submitted for Heights Happenings. d.Groundbreaking for the new library was held on Monday, Sept. 14. e.Staff and volunteers started scanning leftover booksale items to World Books.
