A.Magazines: Magazine labels were typed for newly received magazines. B.Damaged Shelf: Items older than 3 months were cleared from the shelf this month. C.Paperback order: A paperback order is in process right now. D.Paperback Display: This month’s theme was “If you liked the movie, check out the book.” E. Weeding projects: Paperback weeding in the fiction section is complete and we have started on the mysteries. The adult music CD weeding project is about 75% complete as well and will be done by the end of the summer. F. Last copy/withdrawn items: Items were withdrawn from the system and placed with donation items to be added to the sale cart. MAINTENANCE II. A.Fire extinguishers: Fire extinguishers were checked May 28th. B.Security gates: Security gate filters were cleaned May 28th. C.Public Works: They fixed the handicapped door at the back entrance of the building and hung up our Bookawocky sign. MISCELLANEOUS III. A.ILL Drawer: The ILL drawers were maintained and a weekly count of filled requests has been kept. B.Month End Statistics: The statistics for the previous month were totaled and sent to staff June 1st. C.Bulletin Board: The Bulletin board was maintained and cleaned this month. D.Shelf Reading: Shelf reading was mostly completed this month. Our volunteer Kathy has been doing a great job shelf reading and has been very helpful in completing the magazines and Large Print this month. E.Website and Facebook: Periodic updates were completed.
