COLLECTION PROJECTS
I.
A.Magazines: Magazine labels were typed for newly received magazines.
B.Damaged Shelf: Items older than 3 months were cleared from the shelf thrice this month.
C.Paperback order: An order was placed in February for the lists from January and December.
D.Paperback Display: This month’s theme was “African American Fiction”.
E. Weeding projects: The weeding project for Barb is now up to 781.66 GUS in adult CDs, 914.950476
EUR in DVDs, and children’s fiction DVDs and will be continued next month.
F. Last copy/withdrawn items: items were withdrawn from the system and placed with donation
items to be added to the sale cart.
MAINTENANCE
II.
A.Fire extinguishers: Fire extinguishers were checked February 24th.
B.Security gates: Security gate filters were cleaned February 24th.
C.Public Works: Fixed the edge of the circulation counter this month, and nothing else is needed
from them at this time.
MISCELLANEOUS
III.
A.ILL Drawer: The ILL drawers were maintained and a weekly count of filled requests has been kept.
B.Month End Statistics: The statistics for the previous month were totaled and then distributed to
staff for their records and/or use.
C.Bulletin Board: The Bulletin board was maintained and cleaned this month.
D.Shelf Reading: The list stayed the same as January’s because of the small number of pages. A new
list has been made for March, with ‘new pages’ listed for some sections for practice. The new pages
will be added as normal to the April list.
E. Website and Facebook: Periodic updates were completed.
