Adventure Club and Mini Adventures, and ECFE.
b.Classes from ICS visited on 2/3, 2/5, 2/6, 2/26 and 2/27.
c.We had a family storytime in the evening on 2/11. The theme was Olympics. We had ages from
toddler to upper elementary. After the stories and flannel boards, attendees participated in the
Olympic games including balance beam (carrying the Olympic torch), javelin throw, ski jump, and a
medal stamp at the finish line.
d.We had the Candy Land Live program on 2/7. With help from Michelle and Rachel, I decorated the
Activity Room to look like the Candy Land game board, including Molasses Swamp and a Candy
Castle. I spun the wheel and called out which color square to go to next. Older kids helped younger
kids figure out where to go next and there was a lot of good sportsmanship and cheering on others
throughout the game. All participants ate sweet treats along the way.
