HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract No. 2013 2530 2013- 2530 CONFIRMATION OF RECORDS AGREEMENT COLUMBIA HEIGHTS POLICE DEPARTMENT—MN0020400 ANOKA COUNTY CENTRAL COMMUNICATIONS This agreement, entered into between Anoka County Central Communications and the Columbia Heights Police Department (MN0020400), is to facilitate the National Crime Information Center and the State of Minnesota requirements for confirmation of record information on a twenty-four (24) hour a day basis by all law enforcement agencies utilizing their system. Because the Columbia Heights Police Department does not maintain continuous terminal monitoring on a twenty-four (24) hour a day basis, the Anoka County Central Communications telephone number (763-427-1212) will be entered in the "Miscellaneous Field" on any and all missing persons, stolen guns, and stolen article records. The Columbia Heights Police Department authorizes the Anoka County Central Communications Center to enter any and all stolen vehicles, and any of the above mentioned articles, should it involve life endangerment, the possibility of resulting in felony activity, or the possibility of continuing criminal activity. The Anoka County Central Communications will act as originating agency on behalf of the Columbia Heights Police Department and agrees to respond within the "ten minute hit policy" with any available information and/or a specific time when complete information can be provided, if said information is not available. In order to comply with the requirement, Anoka County Central Communications may request information from any Columbia Heights police officer that is on duty at that time. Anoka County Central Communications may also send a response message indicating the Columbia Heights Police Department's normal office hours are 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday (excluding City approved holidays), when additional information is available. This agreement entered into by the Anoka County Central Communications and the Columbia Heights Police Department, shall take effect on August 1, 2013, and will be continuous until cancelled by either party.
