Children’s Department Staff: Apart from the normal duties, pages have done an outstanding job is assisting with programs this month. Be it promoting participation, helping children sign up, and awarding prizes, the Winter Reading Program has logistically run very smoothly in part because of the page’s work. I would also like to highlight the success of our Saturday programs because of the assistance of the library supervisors and the primary two Saturday pages: Asiya Hassan and Gianna Ritzko. These staff members monitored the activity room, refilled supplies as needed, and talked up the program to those who were stopping in the library to participate. b. Some special projects in addition to daily tasks Kelly Olson completed this month are as follows: pulling books to fill the numerous bulk loan requests, sending out performer contracts, assisting with the Captain Underpants program, and working with Renee Dougherty on report statistics. c. Candice Marsh completed her one year performance evaluation this month. Candice has done a majority of the set up and preparation for our special programs this month. She also continues to work on publicity, book and bulletin board displays, and organizing/filing paperwork. She has additionally been working on a couple of special projects relating to the following events: Teen Tech Week, READ Dogs, and the Summer Reading Program.
