Magazines A.: Labels for new editions of magazines were printed this month. Weeding: B. Paperback weeding of the genres Fiction, Romance, and Science Fiction/Fantasy was done this month. Items six years and older were withdrawn based upon circulation. Weeding of the Adult and Juvenile DVDs L through N and also nonfiction DVDs 921 through 999 was also completed. Adult audiobook weeding was also done this month. ndrd Damaged Shelf: C. The Damaged shelf was checked on August 2 and August 23 . Items three months or more were discarded with notes added to records detailing what was done. Paperback Order: D. Four paperback orders were checked against Workflows for hits. The orders are being reviewed to see which the Library will purchase. MAINTENANCE PROJECTS II. th Security Gates: A. Security Gates were cleaned on August 16. th Fire Extinguishers: B. Fire Extinguishers were checked on August 16. MISCELLANEOUS III. ILL Drawer: A. The ILL Drawer was checked this month. Hold slips from ILLs were counted and bundled together. Statistics were updated to reflect the newly counted slips. Paperback Display: B. A paperback display highlighting African American stories and authors was created and maintained this month. Month End Statistics: C. Statistics for the previous month were tallied and sent to the appropriate people. Bulletin Board: D.The bulletin board was maintained and cleaned weekly this month. Shelf Reading: E. New shelf reading lists for the Adult and Children’s Departments were generated this month. Task Force survey: F. Major work to compile statistics from the Task Force survey was completed this month. Both text and graphs were used to illustrate the numerical results in an easy way to understand. An appendix of general comments by survey takers was also completed. Website & Facebook: G. Work on the web site and Facebook to keep events up to date was completed this month. rgg
