Kuehn@ci.columbia-heights.mn.us> 4/23/01 8:56AM Re: Taste of Heights JEAN, While all the comments so far have been good about the first "TASTE OF HEIGHTS" I do have a suggestion to make it better for next year. For starters, the Indian group from Mexico that took up the stage and floor for an hour and 15 minutes and continually beat their drums so that no one could talk or hear other people at other groups represented, you'll have to put time and sound restrictions on them. A missionary to Mexico who has spent over 40 years working with another Indian tribe there could probably give you some insight into the group that took over your Taste program this year.(Ken Jacobs 651-636-5142) If La Casita wanted to be in the Taste program next year and wanted to represent the Mexican people, you might have a rear conflict with the other group because they announced they were not Mexican and did not speak Spanish and probaby are fighting for complete independance. Thats all I wanted to say today, but call Ken and he'll give you some insight into the natives you had at your program that you may not know about. Thanks for assisting Julie with that colorful program. regards, Warm Hamann Vince veham@juno.com GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Join Juno today!
