maintaining the department collection (shelving, shelf reading, and weeding) this
month. They also contributed to programs by calling participants, setting-up, and
tearing down.
b.Library Aide: Candice Marsh prepared registrations sheets, publicity posters and flyers
for May programs and events. She also made bulletin boards for National Library
Week, Children’s Book Week, a book display entitled “ Dig Up Some Good Books,”
and Live at the Library. She has filed current invoices and PO’s, worked on summer
st
booklists, updated 21 Century programs attendance, and organized poster paper in the
copy room. Candice also assisted in program set-ups and special events, such as
Marsh’s farewell party.
c.Children’s Clerk: Kelly Olson worked on reports this month including: updating the
Corporate Card list and Titles Ordered/Not Loaded report. She has been
troubleshooting with library card issues, and retraining pages regarding this area. She
is one of many in part to thank for the success of Marsha’s farewell party, having
handled a bulk of logistics including ordering the cake, picking up items, assisting
with the photo book, and setting up the room.
