I. COLLECTION PROJECTS
Magazines
A. : Magazine labels were typed for newly received magazines.
Fountas & Pinnell:
B. Leveled reading lists for Grade 3 were updated and redesigned this
month.
Damaged Shelf:
C. The Damaged shelf was cleaned 12/29/2011.
Hudson’s Maps:
D. The 2012 Hudson’s Maps Street Atlas’ were received this month and
distributed to their appropriate departments.
Paperback order:
E. A paperback order was completed 12/7/2011.
II. MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

Security Gates:
A. Filters were cleaned on December 28.

Air Fresheners:
B. Air Fresheners were replaced on December 28.
th
Fire Extinguishers:
C. Fire extinguishers were checked on December 28.
Public Works:
D. Public Works removed the old cabinets in the Board Room to allow the
installation of the new cabinets.
Heights Electric:
E. Heights Electric came out to the library to remove an electrical fixture
attached to the old cabinets in the Board Room.
Cabinets:
F. New cabinetry was installed in the Board Room on 12/29/2011.
III. MISCELLANEOUS
ILL Drawer:
A. The ILL drawers were maintained and a weekly count of filled requests has
been up kept.
Paperback Display:
B. A Paperback display featuring holiday themed romance was
maintained this month.
Month End Statistics:
C. The statistics for the previous month were totaled and then
distributed to staff for their records and/or use.
Bulletin Board:
D. The Bulletin board was maintained and cleaned this month.
Shelf Reading:
E. Lists generated for the Pages to write their progress down from shelf reading
were made this month.
Publicity:
F. Publicity for various upcoming library events was generated this month. This
includes Winter Wonderland storytime, Game day at the Library, and Joining Julie in February.
Website:
G. Various updates to the library portion of the city website were done this month.
This includes future Board meetings, Children’s programming, upcoming closed dates, and
program publicity as well.
Read Dogs:
H. Statistics for the Read Dogs program from this past fall were sent to the school
district.
Shelf Labels:
I. Shelf labels were retyped and distributed for the Children’s department.
