Magazines A. : Magazine labels were typed for newly received magazines. ACL Weeding: B. Last copies of materials within Workflows that Columbia Heights owns the last copy of were found and withdrawn. Others were then used on the Book Sale Cart. Weeding: C. Weeding of the 950-999 nonfiction was completed this month. th Paperback Order: D. A Paperback Order was sent on May 19. MAINTENANCE PROJECTS II. th Security Gates: A. Filters were cleaned on May 12. th Air Fresheners: B. Air Fresheners were replaced on May 12. th Fire Extinguishers: C. Fire extinguishers were checked on May 12. The Fire Extinguishers also had their yearly check done by All Safe this month. Public Works: D. Public Works moved a large metal shelf this month from the Adult Reading Room to the East Room. They also assembled a chair and a few kick stools as well. Building Maintenance: E. Carpet cleaning and Mat cleaning were scheduled and done this month. Also, some problems with our outside security lights were fixed this month by Heights Electric. Heights Electric did their yearly check of Emergency doors and Emergency lights as well. MISCELLANEOUS III. ILL Drawer: A. The ILL drawers were maintained and a weekly count of filled requests has been up kept. Paperback Display: B. A Paperback display featuring paperbacks with predominately green colored covers and spring themed stories was maintained this month.. Month End Statistics: C. The statistics for the previous month were totaled and then distributed to staff for their records and/or use. Bulletin Board: D. The Bulletin board was maintained and cleaned this month. Book Sale Cart: E. The Book Sale cart was maintained this month. Guest Passes: F. An inventory of missing Guest Passes for internet use was done this month. Afterwards new passes were created. The old passes were then removed and the new passes were put in their place. rg
