Magazines A. : Magazine labels were typed for newly received magazines. ACL Weeding: B. Last copies of materials within Workflows that Columbia Heights owns the last copy of were found and withdrawn. Others were then used on the Book Sale Cart. Weeding: C. Weeding of the nonfiction was done this month. We have now moved into the Nonfiction 950-999 area. thth Paperback Order: D. A Paperback Order was sent on January 12 and January 13. nd Damaged Shelf: E. The Damaged Shelf was checked January 22. Items residing there for more than three months were discarded and a note was added to the patrons record. Magazine List: F. Two lists consisting of magazines Columbia Heights Public Library subscribes to were compiled. These lists will be used in page projects and for general records. MAINTENANCE PROJECTS II. th Security Gates: A. Filters were cleaned on January 12. th Air Fresheners: B. Air Fresheners were replaced on January 12. th Fire Extinguishers: C. Fire extinguishers were checked on January 12. Public Works: D. Public Works was called out this month to do a repair of the edge molding on our Circulation desk. The old molding was removed and a new one was installed. Also, Public Works worked on a section of the Library Clerks desk which had fallen off. MISCELLANEOUS III. ILL Drawer: A. The ILL drawers were maintained and a weekly count of filled requests has been up kept. Paperback Display: B. A Paperback display featuring new books from within the last three months was kept this month. Month End Statistics: C. The statistics for the previous month were totaled and then distributed to staff for their records and/or use. Bulletin Board: D. The Bulletin board was maintained and cleaned this month. Book Sale Cart: E. The Book Sale cart was maintained this month. File Cleaning: F. Old files and documents past the retention schedule were recycled and new forms for the year were created. rg
