I made a presentation on library services to the Community Methodist Church Ladies Aide group on 2/4. In the absence of an Adult Services specialist, I led the adult book discussion group on 2/26. The group discussed the title The Zookeeper’s Wife. C. In the absence of the Director, I supervised the operations of the Library for the period of one week. Patrons are noticing staff shortages and continue to comment on the loss of hours. Hopefully everyone will be patient as we try to work through the issues this economic crisis has brought to bear. IV. GRANTS A. The CAPP committee (now referred to as the Heighten the Arts committee) met at the library on 3/3 and 3/19. The group is moving right along. A promotional brochure has been developed, LOGO design is underway, members are working on 3-4 different grant applications and a static WEB page is under development. B. I am preparing additional grant applications for submission in March. These applications will be aimed at purchase of collection materials. C. The MN After School Activities grant continues through August of this year and will be supplying performances during the summer months at the library. This grant will also provide incentives for the teen reading program as it has in the past.
