PROGRAMS A. In 2008 children’s programs brought 4,393 visitors to the library to participate in 152 separate programs B. Head start visited the library and I provided a special storytime for 4 separate groups. COLLECTION A. Weeding of the YA fiction is complete. We have not been receiving last copy information for this collection and found many COH only copies on the shelf. B. Weeding of the following collections is also complete: J745-789, JFIC F, Audio Books J745-789, JCD781.642 K-781.642 S, CD E (F) C. Weeding of Easy books was started and will continue through January. III. PROJECTS A. Members of the CAPP committee met with Mayor Gary Peterson to discuss a potential MRAC grant application for public art projects. The group agreed to go forward with the application. IV. GRANTS A. Report was submitted to Dollar General along with a cover letter. B. Initial application was placed through ISD 13 for participation as a partner in the st next round of 21 Century Grants. C. No word yet on the Lois Lenski Covey grant application V. STAFF A. The staff wishes everyone health and happiness in the New Year. Bless us everyone.
