I. The undersigned, having carefully examined the Bidding Docu';'ents prepared by David
T odd Runyan & Associates., Architects, for tre construction of the:
PLAZA CONNECTION
OFFICE BUILDING & PARKING RAMP
40th Avenue N.E. and Central Avenue
Columbia Heights, Minnesota
and having examined the site and being familiar with the local conditions affecting the
cost of the Work, hereby proposes to furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools,
transportation and services necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the
proposed Contract Documents for the following sums:

2. The undersigned agrees, if awarded the Contract, to substantially complete the
Contract within ICjc calendar days from the date of award of the Contract.

The undersigned agrees that if this Bid is accepted and the undersigned refuses '10 enter
into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in this Bid or fails to furnish
satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Bidding
Documents, the amount of this bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner, not as a
penalty, but as liquidated damages.
4. The undersigned agrees, if awarded the Contract, to enter into a Contract with the'
Owner on the terms stated in this Bid and to execute the Agreement and furnish satisfac-
tory Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Bidding Documents, within
10 calendar days after receipt of the proposed Agreement form.
5. The undersigned agrees that this Bid may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar
days immediately following the date of receipt of bids.
6. In submitting this Bid, it is understood that the Owner reserves the right to reject any or
all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received and to accept any
alternate in any order or combination.

BID QUALIFICATION - PLAZA CONNECTION
Our Bid is based on using used reconditioned metal flange forms for
the forming of the structural joist system.
These flange forms are not leakproof and will leave lap and joint
marks and will not produce an architectural or attractive concrete
finish.
If an architectural surface is required, we would have to use new
fiberglas forms at an additional cost of $75,000.00.
