I. PROGRAMS
A. Storytime attendance is high averaging between 35 and 40 per session. This is due to
the attendance of some large day care groups.
B. Stevie Ray’s IMPROV did not draw the anticipated crowd. We will continue to search
for programming that appeals to the teens.

II. COLLECTION
A. Staff has finished checking the 2007 donated materials for catalog entries and any hits
have been added to the collection. I will sort through the remainder of the titles for
potential adds in November.
B. Children’s year-end orders have been placed and we are holding book orders for January.
C. The year-end book and music cd orders have been prepared and are awaiting purchase
order preparation.
D. Final budget expenditures are anticipated to be complete by November 12.
III. PROJECTS
A. Staff are busy preparing promotional activities for National Children’s Book Week,
November 12-18.
B. Posters and tickets for the Foundation fundraiser on December 2 were prepped for
printing this month.
C. I n Dana’s absence, I lead the adult discussion group on the title Running with Scissors.
Six adults attended the discussion session, which was very lively.
IV. STAFF
A. Children’s Department Clerk, Kelly Olson spent time updating book order files and
preparing to close out 2007-year end files. She also aided in the development of a new
ANOKAT publicity campaign. Circulation desk business continued to be brisk. Kelly
and Cristy reorganized the supply storage area and removed out dated supply materials
B. Program Aide Cristy Tombarge prepared print materials and book for Teen Read Week,
and set up Halloween book display. She also aided in establishing the year-end book
order files, and reorganization of storage areas.
C. Pages checked donated materials against the catalog, continued checking selection tools
and began weeding of juvenile paperback collection.
