Hot Reads adult reading program this winter.

considerably in December. Only two deliveries were made this month.

non-fiction this month.

although preparations are being made for an order in January.
Projects

st
A. A walk through with Fidelity cleaners will be held on December 21. The cleaning
has been adequate, with improvement in dusting issues that were discussed at the
previous walk through.
B. Displays in the library include YUM! Holiday cooking and treats, a fiction display
featuring holiday fiction and non-fiction, and the ever popular new book display. An
employee of the Anoka county waste management department arranged an attractive
display on reducing waste over the holidays in the library. The display case features a
collection of bells from the Friends of the Library.
C. Project bookshelf was highly successful this year 106 books were collected and
delivered to SACA in time for their holiday distribution.
D. A box to collect clothing for the Granny’s closet project was delivered to the library
early in the month. Donations have been down from previous years due to the late
installation of the collection box.
E. New furniture has been delivered and installed in the library. The disruption of
library business was minimal, and the new furniture is attractive and functional. The
installation of a panel between the reference desk and the service desk has been
delayed due to an error in material, but the problem will be corrected soon.
