Friends of the Library: The Friends of the Library met on Monday, December 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the library. President, Nancy Rathbun volunteered to take the books from Project Bookshelf over to SACA on December 16. This year 193 books were donated; 2004-128 books; 2003-78 books. Sandi Engquist will place an order with Campbell’s Labels for Education for items Becky requested. The Friends have approximately 14, 000 labels in the bank balance with Campbell’s. Rita Norberg and Betty Robbins made a brief presentation on the Library Foundation and what they do. The Friends are anxious to spend their book sale money and are looking forward to Becky presenting her “wish list” at their February meeting. B. At-Home-Service: During December, Sandi Engquist, Friend of the Library member, delivered books to two at-home-patrons. I also received an inquiry from the Crest View Community about reinstating their bulk loan program. They have completed the required paperwork, but now they may prefer to have individual residents set up as homebound patrons. I sent them a pack of MELSA library applications and am now waiting to see what they want to do. II. COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT: A.
