What will the building be worth exclusive of furnishings?
Mr. ~alsbury - approximately 2½ rn[llion.
'Who is responsible for liability insurance?
Mr. Dale Hadtrath said he would check on it and get back to Salsbury.
How do we schedule events in the future?
Mr. Salsbury ' Same as before. All future,meeting' requests should be thru the
Park Secretary. We will have 7 smaller meetin9 'rooms'to'.hane~ie smaller meetings
in addition to the hall.
How ]arge is the kitchen area?
Mr. Sa]sbury -,Twice as much:as before.
Will they have storage room for organizations?
Mr. Salsbury - yes, they will have a locked secure area.
Will they have trophy cases?
Mr. Sa]sbury - yes, one case in the main hallway downstairs and more behind the bar.
However, we will be changing displays periodically, which was not done in the past.
We also intend to set aside room for various groups to set up displays from time to
time.

Will 'there be kitchen facilities downstairs?
Mr. Salsbury yes and no. Ther'e are two rooms with small kitchenette areas where
they will be able to make coffee.
Seniors - Where are the Golden Ager's cupboards? Are they big enough for coffee urns?
What about l'ights and audio, system?
Mr. Salsbury - New audio and speaker system in the hall. All new lighting system in
the hall. Storage cabinets in some rooms which can be locked. All basement rooms
will be carpeted and ,there w.ill be an elevator.
Hollom - Because the o~ri§inal.all°cation of funds for furnishing the hall was
reduced, the object of this meeting is to allow your groups to use the hall for a
fund raiser. The type of fund raiser, is up to your individual group, it could be a
boutique, dance or whatever your group chooses. The hall would be free of charge
for this .event in order for your group to use the money .for "extras" or "niceties".
V. Vedde'rs - Is ~here money available before the opening of the hall or will we have
to go without drapes and etc?
Petkoff - There is money .left in the contingency fund. We hope draperies and shades
g. et up ahead of time. Paintings,'tables and etc, can be purchased later. $70,000
or $80,000 is left in the budget.
Seniors - Wasn't there $19,000 Met. grant for senior citizens?
Salsbury - That amount went into the construction of the bldg.
Vedders - Can you send a list of needs to the groups and can the list be broken
down or be more specific?
Salsbury - Yes, we will send out a specific list
Salsbury - The {entative.date for the Dedication of the hall is August 17th. Let
Nancy.know what your plans are for after the September 1st date and in the meantime
we will set up temporary scheduling. .,,
Hanson & Birch - Will it be necessary to have security at closed meetings if liquor
is served? ._~ ~
Salsbury - I'm not sure what effect it wou}d have on the city liability coverage -
but no, it would not be necessary to have security at private meetings.
.Kramer - Is there a penalty clause if the bldg', is not done on time?
Salsbury - No, the architbct did not include any, but in addition, penalty clauses
are not legal without an incentive clause as I understand the City Attorney.
