READING OF THE MINUTES -
Motion by Hollom, seconded by Melin to approve the minutes of the April 20, 1977
meeting as presented in writing and that the reading be dispensed with. All ayes
motion carried.
PARK B0~RDAPPOINTMENT
The Board discussed the reappointment of Mr. M~chael Farrel! to the Park Board for
a period of five (5) years by the ~yor and City Council. The members noted that
no vot~ would be taken on this matter.
HILLTOP & PRESTEMON PARK TOT LOT CONSTRUCTION
Motion by Schelde, seconded by Farrell to accept the bid recommended by John M~rzyn,
of Socon inc. as the lowest responsible bidder of tot lot construction in the amount
of $6~918.80. AI~ ayes motion Carried°

Murzyn reported that Prestemon Park.will be available on Fridays for the Y.M.C.A.
league and that it will not create a problem for the Recreation Department as no
games are scheduled for those. ~ights.
TENNIS COURT LIGHTING
Gordon Schelde reported that the metering at the high school tennis court is inconsistent.
Murzyn is to check on this problem.
LABELLE PARK
Motion by Hollom, seconded by Metin to accept the low bid of Desco in the a~ount
of $15,650.00 for dredging at LaBelle Park. All ayes motion carried.
Motion by Schelde, seconded~by Fart:ell to reject bids~4n lighting for LaBelle Park.

Motion by Farretl.~ seconded by Sche!de that we reject all bids in item four (4) which
consists of landscaping in LaBe~e Park. All ayes motion carried.
Motion by Ho!!om, seconded byFarrel! to accept the low responsibte~bid of Metro
Engineering Co. in the amo~uat of $41~213.00 for park improvements in LaBe~_le Park.
Ayes~ Hoolom, Fa~ell~ Schelde and Rak. Nayes~ JoArm Melin. Motion carried.
