Some questions were raised on why we don~t have a gqod spray of water that can be seen from a distance. Murzyn suggested that in order to have a larger spray of water the benches from the inside would have to be placed on the outside area or else the benches remaining placed on the inside would be of no value for sitting. The members would like to see this in operation in th$ month of May 1977. The cost of this dredging, as originally planned, would cost approximately $26,000. Discussion was on a smaller dredge project with the use of a drag line and pushers End that it be placed on the sides of the pathways. The Park Board s~id.that the coSt.be kept at a minimum if the dredging be set at 2 feet and disposing of the spoil~ be within the area.
