LETTERS 2ND REQI~STS: & thank you letter from V.F.~. #230 ~ms read and placed on file. Motion ~ade by 'William Hollom, seconded by Heintz, that 2~s. Paul J. Ko~.s be refunded her money deposited for I~y ]5, 't976 reservation. ~ ayes, motion carried. Motion by Sche!de, seconded by Melin that the Park Board send Mr. Coverston a letter authorizing the use of McF~nna Park softball diamond in ~pril and l~y of ~976. "~.]l ayes, motion carried. Motion .made by Heint~., seconded by Hollom that the Cub Scout Pack #169 of Nelson school be granted the use of the Field House on February ~7, ~976 and March 16~ ~976 ~,ith the fee ~.~ived. Clem complained that a flying puck from Ostrander hockey rink hit his car ~,indow whil~ driving on Po~J, Street. tt ~.~s reco~nended that a letter be sent to the Recreation Department explaining that the youngsters be told not to shoot hockey pucks on the bo~rds facing PoLk Street. l~tion made t~/ Heintz, seconded by Hollom that the Park Board grant the Colzunbia Heights Jaycees the use of the Field House and to waive the fee on February ~7 smd 18, ~976. Crone on 1.~rch 6, ~976, Linda Anderson on ~©ril 24, 1976 Joe t~iss on l~y ]5, ~976, and Post 0_zzce iuxilary February 28, 1976. Ail ayes~ motion carried. · ~SS ~T~N~T~ PARK SUPER~ITENDENT: After the ~'~scussions of the qual_zzcatmons and duties of an Assistant P~rk Supe-~utendent a motion ~s made ~y Sche!de, seconded by Hol!om that the Park Board request the author- ization from the City Council to advertize for an Assistant Park Superintendent in accordance ~_th the t976 budget of 9,500 and as per job dexription of 12-4-75, ail ayes, motion carried. WAP~fENG_ HOL~E ATTEND~.mNTS: A~total of ten (10) attendants have been hired, leaving LaBelle and Keyes 'attendants to be hired. 2~kurzyn reported that the door at Southwest was broken in five nights in ~ row. We finally repaired it so they couldn't break in and now they have started to remove drap siding from the building. ...... The Columbia Heights Jaycees have donated a 100 ~tt amphilfier for the Band Stand and 2&trzyn to send a thank you letter.
