Meeting called to order by John Rak, Chairman

Motion made by Hob&om, seconded by Heintz to pay all bills from their proper funds~ All
ayes, motion carried.
After much discussion, a iotion was made by William Hollom, seconded ~y Sebe Heintz to
change Numeral I, section B~ item ~ to say that an applicant shall tender a $50 fee for
reservation of the Field House at time of application with remainder of the fee to be
paid thirty d~ys in advance of reservation date, and the $50 Fee ~,Lll be ret~ned by
the Park Board in the event of c~ncellation if the do~,n payment be _ulzilled, unless the
Field House is not rented. All ayes, motion 9arried.
After much discussion, a motion x~s made by Heintz, seconded by Melin saying, that Numeral I,
section B should say - The P~rk Board shall have an uniformed police officer or detective
from 8~p.m. to clbsi~ for evening rentals and from 1 p.m. to ~ p.m. in morning to a~ter-
noon rentals; to be stationed on the premise at these times where liquor is pe~tted or
displayed and the fee be reduced $25 on each degree. After a roll call vote: Sebe Helntx
and JoAnn Melin Aye; ~William Hol!om, ~Echael Farrell, ~d John Rs_k, Nay; the moti~o~
defeated.

Motion by Farrell,. seconded by Melin that the Park Bo~rd ~hlow the use of field #3, #~,
#5 at Huset Park, with a $50 fee for each'field plus a $50 deposit for cle~_u-up.
ayes~ motion carried.
John Rak and the~ Park Bo~rd cordially welcomed back W~iam Hollom for another five year
term on the Park Board.
A thank you letter ~s read from chairperson Mrs. B. Russell for the cooperation of the
Ps~-k Board for the District Two Northeast I, iinneapolis Council of Cs~p Fires.
2~otion made by $~2ima Hollom, seconded by Sebe Heintz to grant f~ee use of the Jefferson
Buil~hug to the Lion's Club during the Jamboree Days. All ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Michael Farreli, seconded by Sebe Heintz to grant free use 'of softball field #3 to
the Columbia Heights JC*s for a benefit g~me with K.S.T.P. All Stars on July 20th, ~975.

Jok~ Murzyn reported that the sod and black dirt bids w~ be open on I~D-Y 22~ 1975.
DECKinG for BANDSTAND
Sebe Heintz reported that be recommended the City Council to go ahead with the recommendation
of the Park Board on the decking for the bandstand, due to the time element.
GARLUND CORPORATION PROPOSAL
John Murzyn reporte~ that the proposal for Sinm~st lining costiug $1 ,~50 on one wading pool
%muld not be economical and the proposal %ms dropped.
FIELD HOUSE L~QU0i~t APPLICATION
Motion m~de ~y Heintz, seconded by Farrell that the liquor ~pplication be approved for
Mrs. Armond Bahr for September 12, and that contigenb approval be given to Donald Geris
and Dick $~rtz ~hen they show that they are insured. ~ ayes, motion carried.

John Murzyn reported that Gauvittee Building is coming along fine and that they are
installing the roof at the present time and doing a good job.
DOCK and LIFE BOUYS_
The report was received in the mail and hasn't changed from that report, ~d no ~ ---
further discussion was needed.
The'Park Superintendent, John Murzyn presented an estimate cost on lighting Huset
tennis courts~ and this will be presented to the Mayor and City Council for their
action.
