Readin~ of the December $th Minutes
Motion made by Michael Farrell, seconded by JoAnn Melin to accept the reading of the
minutes of December 4, 197% as presented in writing. All ayes, motion carried.
Payment of Bills
Motion made by JoAnn Melin, seconded by Gordon Schelde to pay all bills as presented
from the proper funds. All ayes, motion carried.
Lieuor.
Liquor question for the Field House ~as discussed with Mr~ Ron Katina, our City Attorney
in respect to ~hibilities of the City of Columbia Heights and Park Board. A motion ~s
made by Gordon Schelde, seconded by JeAnne Me!in to table the discussion on the liquor
until the next regular meeting. Ail ayes, motion carried.
Park Board 0rdin~ace
The Park Board members-reviewed and discussed the park ordinance with the City Attorney.
After a lengthy discussion the Park Board agreed to prepare a list of recommendations
and present th~se recommendations to the Mayor and City Council.
Zeis
Mr. Gene Mady ~rom the Southwest Park area requested the Park Boards support in re-
gards to the block building adjacent to Southwest Park. A motion by Michael Farre!!,
seconded by Jo~un Melin to instruct the Park Superintendent to ~ite ~nother letter to
the City Council recommending that the existing builS~L~g be torn down and removed for
safety reasons for the participants of the park. Ail ayes, motion carried.
Lighting. and Building for Gauvitte Park
Motion by Gordon Scheide, seconded by JoAnn Melin to table the proposed lighting and
building for Gauvitte until the next Park Board meeting. ~ ayes, motion carried.
Park Development for 197~
Motion ~y Gordon Schelde, seconded by ¥~chael Farre!l that the Park Development priori-
ties be tabled until the next regular meeting. ~1~ ayes, motion-carried.
Use of Field House
Gordon Scheldemade a motion, seconded by Michael Farrell to allow rent free the use
ef the field house for Girls Scouts Father and Daaghter Snow Day on February 15, 1975.
Ail ayes, motion carried.
S.oftba!! Fields
Motion by GorSon Soheide, seconded by JoAnn Melin to allow the use of t~ (2) softball
fields for a tournament during the weekend of February 22 and 23, 19V5, and to charge
them the standard fee. Ail ayes, motion carried.
Park Development Funds
A motion was Earle by Gordon Schelde, seconded by Michael Farre!l to table the discussion
cf park funds for 1975 park development until the next meeting° Ail ayes, motion carried.

Motion made by Micra el Farreil~ seconded by Gordon Sohelde to rent satellites for
the 1975-1975 Skating Season, one each for LaBelle, Prestemon, Gauvitte, Mini, and
Southwest. A~i ayes, motion carried.
