Members Present: .J. oAnn Mel~i.n, Michael Farrell, Gordon Schelde, Sebe Heintz, William nollom, ~onn Murzyn, and Clayton Berg from Engineering Department. Members Absent: John Rak ..R. eading of the Minutes Motion was made by Sebe Heintz, seconded by JoAnn Melin that the minutes of the previsous meeting be accepted as presented in writing. Ail ayes, motion carried. .P.ayment of Bills Motion by Sebe Heintz, seconded by JoAnn Melin to pay all bills presented out of the proper funds. Ail ayes, motion carried. Huset Tennis Court The tennis courts at Huset Park were discussed with Clayton Berg, and the Park Board requested a recommendation from the Engineering Department on how the courts will be completed before spring of 1975. Zeis Building Moiton by Michael Farrell, seconded by Gordon Schelde that the Park Board re- commends to the City Council that the block building adjacent to Southwest Park be removed for safety reasons for the participants use of the park, and that the Superintendent write a letter to the City ~ouncil for the Park Boardls action. 1]l. ayes,' motion carried. .Proposed Gauvitte Building Discussion on the planning of the proposed building and park lighting at Gau= vitte Park. John Marzyn is to have preliminary plans drawn, which include the Board members recommendation ~n preventing vandalism and report back to the Board at the next meeting. Rental Fees for Field House A motionwas made by Michael Farrell, seconded by3ebe Heintz to table the pro- posed rental fee of the Field House until the next meeting. Locks on Lavatory Doors Motion by'Gordon Schelde, seconded by Sebe Heintz to change all lavatory door lock cylinders to one master key. Ail ayes, motion carried. ReGuests Motion by Sebe Heintz, seconded by Gordon Schelde to allow the Columbia Heights Hockey Association the use of the Field House, free of charge on November 15, 1974for their membership drive. All ayes, motion carried. Adjournment Motionma'de by Gordon Schelde, seconded by Sebe Heintz that the meeting be adjourned. ~11 ayes, motion carried.
