Motion by William Hollom, seconded by Michael Farrell that the b~.!~s be paid
out of their proper Funds. Ail ayes, motion carried.
Motion by Michael Farrell, seconded by Gordon Sche!de to approve the ~nutes
as presented ~ writing and the reading of these minutes be dispensed ~th. All
ayes~ motion carried.
Tabulation of bids. (see page 3)
Motion by William Holtom, seconded by Gordon2Sche!de, that the Park Board
commends to the ~yor and City Council that Nedegaard Construction be a~,zrded the
bid for the Ms.thaire BuilS~g 5m the amount of $34, 87~. 32. Ail ayes, motion carried.
Motion by' Michael Farrell, seconded by Gordon Schetde that the bids be awarded
to the qualified low bidder for the balance of Park Y~provements in Prestemon Park,
Southwest Park and Dstrander Park and that Item "E" in Southwest Park be funded
from the Reve~ne Shar_!~g Fund. All ayes, motion carried.

Motion by' Gordon Schelde, seconded by William Hollom to accept the recommendation
of the Engineering Department in regards to the prof~es of the berm on the north side
o£ Cir-Tek building. All ayes, motion carried.
S~OHE.DULE of HO,URS for..PARK. EMPLOYEES
After a discussion on scheduling o£ hours for park employees, the Board requested
the Superintendent to converse with the City ~mager, Malcolm Watson of hiring part
time employees to handle ~ading pools, etc. and report back at the next meeting.
Park Superintendent, John Murzyn reported that the balance in the Skating Rink
Salaries was projected at $6%2.00, as of December

Motion by Michael Farret!, seconded by Gordon Scheide that the Superintendent set
up a meeting with the Recreation Department, and Engineering Department to come up
a rough draft of the Band Stand, and present it at the April 1?th meeting. ~ ayes~
motion carried.

Motion by Gordon Schelde, seconded by William Hollom to grant Mr. Harl~ Downing
manager of Dick's Softball Team, the use of the softball field on May 25, 1974
for the sum of $30.00. All ayes, 'motion carried.
Motion by Michael Farrell, seconded by Gordon Schelde to allow the
Cotumbi~ Heights Activities Committee, rental free, the use of the Field House
for a Spaghetti Dinner on-May 26, 1974. ~l_t ayes, motion carried. ~
Motion by William Hollom, seconded by Gordon Schetde that the meeting be
adjourn. Ail ayes, motion carried.
