The concept of plans shown by Braurer were what we wanted to be proposed to the people surrounding Prestemon Park. This proposed park will be divided into two sections, an active and passive. The active portion will be facing the multi-family area on 39th Avenue and McKinley Street. This.will consist of a softball diamond, skating area, hockey rink, building and wading pool. The passive section, which consists of tennis courts, picnic 9rounds, and play area will face the residential housing on Cleveland Street and 39½ Avenue. It was suggested that we stree the opening of 39th Avenue so that the flow of vehicles can enter the active area and detour the traffic from the residential section. Members of the Park Board approved the plans as shown by Braurer and Associates. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
