HomeMy WebLinkAboutFebruary 19, 1969PARK BOARD MINUTES February 19, 1969 The ~eeting was called to order by pro-tem chairman Marvin Super Membars present: Oliver, Jarvenpa, Wm Hollom, Welch, Super and Murzyu Members ~bsent : John Rak Motion by Jarvenpa, seconded by Hollom, that the minutes be accepted a~ presented in writing. All ayes. Motio~ by Welch, seconded by Hollom, that the boxing program origiuall~ started by the Moe & Reiter families be allowed to use 'the basement (Youth Center) facilities of the Field House, Monday and Wednesdays for 8 weeks· All ayes. Motion by Jarvenpa, seconded by Super, that John Murzyn contact the city attorney concerding liability in regard to the boxing program. All ayes. The new Dutch Elm disease ordinance was passed out to all board members. Motion by Jarvenpa, seconded by Hollom, thst no refund be made to James H!pp of their down payment on rentsl of the hall for February 15, 1969. All ayes. Motiou by Hollom, seconded by Jarveups, that the Superintendent provide a receipt issued ou all rentals for down payments to have the words '~Not Refuddable" and must be signed by the renter All ayes Motion by Jarvenpa, seconded by Welch, to obtmin the services of Mr. Bob Corwine to prepare plans and specifications for McKenns Park wading pool. All ayes. All s~ating rink warming houses will be closed after February 23, 1969, but the m~iutainenance of the rinks will continue as westher pear, nits. Motion by Welch, seconded by Jarvenpa, that the meeting be adjourned. ~ All ayes.
