Resolution offered by Dod Welch, seconded by Don Lewis WHERE-
AS, The Board of Park Commisaioners of the City of Columbia Heights
deems it necessary for the p~eservation of public peace, health
and Safety, and WHEREAS, It ~s necessary for the development of the
Columbia Heights Park syste~
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the ~Board of Park Commissioners of the
city of Columbia Heights, that the following parcel of land shall
be condemned for the purpose~of developing of the City of Columbia
Heights Park system.
The West One-half of th~ South 71 feet of Lot Six (6), ~l°ck
Two(2), Rearrangement of Bl~ak~ ~ "C", Anoka County, Minnesota.
Roll Call - Welch, Lewia and Novotny, Ayes - None Nayes passed

WHEREAS, It is necessary for the development of the Columbia Heights
Park system, be it
HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board ~of Park Commissioners of the City of
Columbia Heights, that th~ following parcel of land shall be condemn-
ed for the purpose of d~e!oping the City of Columbia Heights Park
system:
Lot Nineteen(19) except the North 0ne-Half (N~); Lot Twenty
(20) except the North 0ne-Half (N~) and except the East 0ne-Half
of the South One-Half (E~ of.S~); Block Two (2), Sheffields Sub-
division, Anoka County.
Roll C§!I: Welch, Lewis and Novotny - Ayes - None Nayes.
Passed.
Mr. Corwine presented the pre!imenary plan~ of Memorial Park
to the Board. Few new ideas came up during the discussion Mr. Rak
at 9:2~ P.M. was present. Mr. ~orwine will present his plans
with corrections on ~onday February 2tst for their approval before
presenting to the council. Motion by John Rak, seconded b~ Don
Lewis, meeting be adjourn. Ail ayes.
