Murzyn reported that the. electric cooled fountain has been ~nstalled ~.n the Field House ,~mnd also that the park signs at Mathaire amd Ostrander Parks .are set in concrete and coated with a ~rimer. Request by Mrs. Woodfill for a meeting room for girl scouts was not needed as per telephone call. The budget hearing with the City Council was set for Tuesday September ~olst at 8:4~ P.M. Motion by Welch, seconded by Lewis that a playground sign ~oe installed at 49th and Washington Street. Ail ayes. Motion by Welch, seconded by Lewis that we submit a air condit- ioning proposal for the Field House to the City Coumcit, also that McGoy of Ralph D. Thomas will be requested to appear before the Board for further ,,~n~ormat on on the approval of the City Council. ~11 ayes. Discussion on use of satelttes for the skating season at two sites will be named dependinM the approval of monies in ~m~he 1966 budget by City Council.
