Members Present: John Rsk, Marvin Super, Don Lewis, Frank Novotny, and Don Welch. Minutes of the last meeting were read.and approved. Mr. John Kwitchsk was present to give ithe board ideas and intimate cost on murals for the walls of the youth center. A concrete offer will be made at She next regular Board meeting. Discussion was held on the proposed Silver Lake Beach and the Board requested Murzyn to talk to City Manager Watson so this project can start very soon. Motion by ~ra~ Novot~V, seconded by Don Lewis that our park signs be patterned after State Park S~$ns. All ayes. A copy of letter which was sent to Mr. Watson was read, which requested co~plete new Sidewalks around the Field House. Murzyn reported that a heartng tas set for April 24, 1965. Motion by Don Welch seconded by Frank Novotny to gran~the Oeniors all night party. All ayes. _ Nurzyn reported that the new electric scoreboard donated by Columbia Meights Lions Cl~o has arrived and will be erected for the start of the softball season. Motion by Don Welch and seconded by LeWis that a letter be sent to the Lions Club expressing our thanks from the ~ark Board members. All~es.
