A motion was made by Don ;~elch, ~econded by Ben Lewis, that the preliminary plans and priority construction for park sites, Mc Eenna, ~athatre, and Gauvitte, as presente~ by Bob Corwine, be accepted, with recommendatton~ to the City Council for their aoproval. Ail ~ves. Discussion was held regarding the time reserved for small youngsters on skating rinks. No conclusion was m~ie because of the extreme cold .~ppotntment of a new member to the Park Board came up ~gain, Nurzyn reported that City Manager '~atson will t~ke up this matter at the regx~lar Council Meeting, January 28th. Murzyn presented tenative preliminary plans for study relative to changiz~ the bowling lanes to a recreation area or a youth center. He aisc, reported that by February 1st, Mr Stevert will let us know whether he is interested in leasing our bowling lanes. Murzyn reported that the City Council is asking for bids on a new ParkTruck on February ll, 1963. Motion by ~elch, seconded by Super, that the Park Board allow one extra day for the A1 Brown S~o~. (Thursday). All ayes. Motion by S~oer, seconded by Lewis, that the meeting be adjourned.
