Reading of minutes of the last meeting were dispensed ~rith. Motion by Suoer, seconded by Behun that Kostick be appointed member to the Recreation Commission from the Park Board replacing Chuchwar, who has been shifted to night work and is unable to attend meetings. ~ll ayes. Motion by Super, seconded by Kostick that John Rak be naneda representative of the Park Board to the Columbia Heights Activities Committee. ~l~ aves. The official tabulations of the First Special Park Board election held On November 7, 1961 are the followi~ (See attached) Motion by Behun, Second. ed by Super that the following above result~ were canvassed by City Council at their regular council meoting o~ November 15, 1961. Roll Call, all ayes. ~Tof ~he Park Board Bond Election were the following items: Judges 15585.92 Ballots $74.50 Brochure $296.~5 M~lling $112.62 Total Cost $867.~9 YXetters from Park Bond Issue, Forestry service and Mrs. Jaycees were placed in file with exception those that needed attention. Motion by Super, seconded by Kostic~that the follo~dng rinks be established in City of Columbia Heights~ McKenna Park with lights mud ~,arming house, Huset Park with lights and warming house, Hilltop Park ~.rith lights and ~warming house, LaBells' Park with lmgnts and warming house, Jackson Pond width lights and warming house, 0stranders Park, Sullivan Lake, Mathaire Addition, H~rt Lake, County Park, Silver Lake Landing, Edgemoore Park. Motion by Kostick, seconded by Super that the request be denied for a private rink at 46th and Fillmore St. N.H. All Murzyn reported that Rueben Peterson made a verbal statement that he would in~tall m heating plant ~t the new building at Ostranders Park when it will be built. ' Discussion was held on rental of Chemical toilets for ~ating rinks.
