COLUMBIA HEIGHTS PARK & RECREATION COMMISSION DECEMBER 18, 1991 PAGE TWO After much discussion regarding the proximity of the rental date, motion by Peterson, second by Ruettimann to return $260.00 ($200 damage and $60 police security) to the Pillsbury Company. All ayes, motion carried. It was also requested that we send a "nice" letter stating the policy of the Board regarding cancellations. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Casey requested that we add a cost figure to the rental of the hall when the renters do not leave the hall at the prescribed time. A discussion arose that some renters might say this is an invitation to stay longer at the hall for a fixed amount of money. Therefore, the Board members agreed they did not want to charge more for renter who overstay their 1 a.m. deadline. The members stated that it is up to the caretakers and police officers to see that the renters are out at 1 a.m. and if they have a problem to call 911. REPORTS PARKS Salsbury reported that the ice rinks will be open on December 21st, however, they are not in good shape. Christmas lights are all up at Wargo Court. That this was the last meeting he would be attending - he is resigning as of the 17th of January.
